In your thread, describe the 3 most important events that you believe have influenced current middle school teaching practice and explain why you chose those events. Reply to 2 classmates’ threads stating at least 1 additional event each that you believe will affect teaching practice in the future and why.

Below is an example of a recent trend that is proving to influence current middle school practices. I chose the STEM program out of many teaching practices which seem to come and go over time. What event or events may have led educators to focus on the STEM curriculum? Perhaps the change is due to the advancement of technology in our daily lives. For example, the ever increasing use of robots, or drones delivering our packages from Amazon. What do you think? This is only an example of a plethora of events which shape our lives and our educational practices.
