Do you agree or disagree with car crashes testing, body world, and body farms?
I need help with a Philosophy question. All explanations and answers will be used to help me learn.
Write a half-page to a page response (typed or written). That is, tell me whether you would agree with the utilitarian justification of those three activities. The cadaver car crash testings have been justified on utilitarian grounds because the data from these tests are used to design better seat belts, air bags, etc., in future vehicle models. The body world exhibits have been justified on artistic and educational merits (helping to educate future nurses, scientists, doctors, etc.). Body farms have been justified by advancing forensic science, which can help law enforcement officials solve homicide cases. Assume that there exists informed consent in all of these activities. Are you persuaded by the utilitarian justification of these activities or do you have any ethical objections to any of them?
