I’m trying to study for my Writing course and I need some help to understand this question.

Read the attached PDF titled “A Model for Increasing Gender Diversity in Technology” and then write a 1-page reflection (following the standard guidelines outlined in the syllabus for all journal reflections). Your reflection prompt must answer:

What are two concepts in this research article that were familiar from our Allies in CWIT class? What new information did you learn about the CWIT Scholars Program at UMBC?

To be able to answer the first question let me tell you the things that we learned in our allies in CWIT class. We learned about intersectionality microagrression, Countering the Negative Image of Women in Computing as well as Fundamentals of Effective Allyship. So please try to choose two topics from what I listed(what we learned in class) and relate it with the research to answer the first question.

For the second one, you can choose specific things that you assume I might not know about the program. For instance, the table showimg the difference in gpa and graduation rate between a cwit scholar and a non cwit scholar. Something specific like that would be good to answer the second question. I said something specific because general stuff mentioned on the research like selection process i’m already familiar with that since I am in the program.
